Debuting as the lead single, over three years in the making, Ernest Regular is not like the other Claude releases. It has sinuous, minuscule serifs and broader thin-strokes to walk a more modern, untried path. Soon to be a full family, it is bundled with inventive and honest multi-combining glyphs for appeal that lifts itself off the screen—or the glossy magazine page.
